Arthur A. Barry built a five-bay, center-entrance, brick Georgian Revival house at 590 Mt. Hope in 1921-1922, but apparently never lived in it, as Barry's wife Gladys died in early 1922 and the house was sold to prominent lawyer George H. Clune (father of Henry W. Clune). Clune lived in the house until his death in 1946 and the housed passed through two additional owners before being bought by the University from John F. Eggleston in 1960.
The house was used as a residence by John L. Moore, the University's business manager, until the Investment office moved there in 1965. The building currently houses the Office of Trusts and Estates.
