Construction began on the
Sloan Performing Arts Center in late 2019, provide space for theatrical
programs, dance programs, concerts, and other activities.
University Trustee Thomas Sloan ’65, ’67 (MS) and his wife, Linda Sloan
’67, have made a financial commitment to the project, which is slated to
open in spring 2021.
The center is being built next to Todd Union, replacing a parking
lot.
Construction was suspended due to Covid and the building is now scheduled to open later than scheduled.
